Prostitute Flange by Kenneth D. Hawkins
Heading: Does Love Conquer All?
Does love truly conquer all, even a partner with a very promiscuous lifestyle? Author Kenneth D. Hawkins attempts to capture the reader’s attention in his novel, Prostitute Flange.
Jasmine Prejean is a prostitute at the Tchopitoulas Mumbo Room, which is New Orleans most exclusive brothel. This seemed as an unlikely career decision for Jasmine since she was the valedictorian of Holy Rosary Christian Academy High School. She is a nymphet that would prefer this lifestyle instead of attending either Xavier or Tulane University.
Harper Williams was once part of a notorious young gang, but has turned his life around and is now one of Forbes Top 100 Entrepreneurs. He meets Jasmine at the Mumbo Room but does not partake in any activities. Harper would like to show Jasmine the finer things in life and build a relationship with her that is not based on sex. His only requirements are that she remains loyal, truthful, and never keeps any secrets from him. As long as Jasmine would like to oblige, she will not quit her job.
This book was a quick read but it left too many unanswered questions. It was an undeveloped story and the ending was rushed. It appeared as if an editor did not review this book before publishing as there were many grammatical, spelling, and spacing errors.
The book was provided by the author for review purposes.
